More areas of bay reopen to oyster harvesting

Another portion of the Apalachicola Bay reopened to oyster harvesting this morning. The Department of Agriculture reopened the Approved winter west area 1611 at sunrise today. That area was closed earlier this week because of high levels of fresh water pouring from the Apalachicola River.
