Veteran's History Project will be in Carrabelle on Saturday

The Veterans History Project of the Library of Congress American Folklife Center will be in Carrabelle on Saturday morning to help people become involved in the oral history program. The Veterans History Project will host an Oral History Workshop this Saturday at 10 A.M. at the Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum in Carrabelle. Attendees will learn about oral history, the effort to preserve the remembrances of North Florida's veterans, and how to conduct interviews for The Library of Congress permanent collections. Attendance is free. If possible, attendees are asked to briefly review in advance the Veterans History Project Field Kit, which you can get by visiting www.loc.gov/vets and clicking on "How to Participate".
