Re: Attorney General McCollum sends letter to Secretary Napolitano

Attorney General McCollum today sent a letter to Secretary Napolitano
asking her to increase the resources available to aid in Florida’s response
to the Deepwater Horizon oil disaster. The Attorney General urged the
Secretary not to be deaf to Florida’s needs.

"Recently I have learned there are resources still untapped right here in
the Gulf region," wrote the Attorney General. "At least one Florida firm
has professional skimming vessels ready to assist with clean up operations…
but no one with the Coast Guard or BP seems interested in engaging their
vessels."
