Thank you to all who have booked your September Seafood Days Getaway! We have been overwhelmed by the positive response and as a result, we are nearly out of Gift Cards! We will be ending the Gift Card promotion tomorrow, Sept. 3 at 5 p.m. Eligible lodging providers will continue to offer the promotion through tomorrow afternoon contingent only upon card availability. Those of you who have booked your reservations in advance or at least in the last week or so, congratulations!  Your card(s) are waiting for you. You will receive them upon check-in from your lodging provider. 
 
Now, just because the gift card promo is wrapping up, September Seafood Days is just beginning and local lodging providers and merchants are stepping up to offer discounts and September deals that will make your visit well worth the trip even without a gift card. Wild & Scenic Film Festival - Sept. 3-4

Apalachicola Concert Sept. 4
Apalachicola's Summer Concert Series wraps up Saturday September 4 with an end of summer concert at the  Riverfront Park in Historic Downtown Apalachicola. Concert starts at 6 p.m. Details franklinspromisecoalition.org

Kayak Paddle Board Demo Day Sept. 4
Ever wanted to try out one of those stand up paddle boards? Here's your chance. On Sept. 4 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Journeys of St. George Island are hosting a Kayak & Stand Up Paddle Board Demonstration Day at the Boat Basin on St. George Island. Contact  (850) 927-3259.

Alligator Point Grouper Slam Sept 10

Camp Gordon Johnston Honors Museum Days Sept. 25
On September 25, Carrabelle's CGJ WWII Museum to participate in the Smithsonian Magazine's National Museum Day. The Carrabelle Museum is one of many across the country that will participate.  The museum will be open from 1000 hours until 1700 hours and will feature live music with songs from the 1940's. River Paddling Trip Sept 25
The Apalachicola Riverkeeper group will host a paddling trip on the Apalachicola River September 25. The trips are free to members and $30 for non-members. Spaces can be reserved by calling 850-653-8936 or via email riverkeeper@apalachicolariver
