Meth lab awareness class coming to Franklin County

Please be advised that Franklin County Emergency Management will be presenting  a short free class on Clandestine Meth Lab Awareness on:

The instructor:

Detective Jeff Moore

Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office SWAT

WMD Coordinator and CQB Instructor

RDSTF Region III SWAT Training, Exercise, and Equipment member

Education: B.S. in Forestry University of Florida

Captain, United States Army 1989-1995, Airborne, Ranger Qualified

Police Experience: 13 yrs

The course will cover: Meth manufacturing process and hazards, Meth indicators, Homemade explosives, Homemade Lab Hazards, Chemistry and Biology. 

The class is open to the public and recommended for EMTs, first responders, firemen and police.
