The Carrabelle Chamber of Commerce and the City of Carrabelle are partnering together for a major media plan to promote the city.
The plan, which was approved in March, will include advertise through local media as well as television and website ads with WCTV in Tallahassee which has a coverage area of over 45 counties in North and Central Florida, Southeast Georgia and Southeast Alabama.
The marketing plan also consists of creating a mobile app for the city that will be compatible with the popular IPhone and Droid phones.
The mobile app will help visitors in planning their vacations and give them access to the latest information on businesses and events in the Carrabelle area.
The media plan also includes attending travel and trade shows to promote Carrabelle as the perfect destination to vacation, buy a home, open a business and to become part of the Carrabelle community.
In the near future the Carrabelle Chamber will get input from businesses and organizations in Carrabelle as they move forward with the media plan.
