APALACHICOLA—The Franklin County Board of County Commissioners has declared that the FIRE BAN currently in effect in Franklin County will be suspended at 8:30 AM, Friday July 01, 2011.

With the ban lifted, we ask all residents and guests to be very diligent in the handling of any fires and fireworks during this time, as it is still very dry in our area.

Please report any gross unusual activities to the proper law enforcement agency or the Forest Service.
