Weekend Happenings:


--The American Legion Post 82 in Lanark Village is having a seafood dinner fund raiser beginning at noon on Saturday July 2nd.

--The Camp Gordon Johnston Association & Museum is having a seafood Dinner fund raiser at the Carrabelle RV Resort [across from Carrabelle Beach] beginning at noon on Saturday.

Support of either would be greatly appreciated!

Florida Dixie Softball All Star
State Tournament being held in Carrabelle from July 7th to 11th!!
Over 550 Girls-Coaches and Families!



If your business would like to offer a special or coupon for a Welcome to Carrabelle Packet being given to the girls—Please have 550 copies to the Chamber Office by 11 am on Tuesday-July 5th.  We also needs volunteers to help stuff the packets at 1:30 at Carrabelle City Hall Meeting Room—Come out and support this great Carrabelle event and the teams!!

GULF SPECIMEN MARINE LABORATORIES
Dear friends,

     Don't miss a great opportunity to learn about some local and not so local flora and fauna from a long time resident and lover of Florida. Dr. Anne Rudloe will be teaching her monthly class about mangrove habitats and sea grass beds on Friday, July 15th.  The class starts at 7:00 pm and will be held at the Gulf Specimen Marine Lab 222 Clark Drive in Panacea, Florid. The classes are free to members and$7.50 for nonmembers.  Refreshments will be served during the lecture. We hope to see you there.
