trump wins big in Franklin County, Clinton gets a narrow victory

                Franklin County republicans voted overwhelmingly for Donald trump in the presidential preference primary on Tuesday, while Hillary Clinton barely beat Bernie Sanders in the Democratic race.
Over 51 percent of the 1220 republicans who voted in the presidential preference primary voted for Donald trump.
Florida senator Marco Rubio took 20.4 percent of the local vote while Ted Cruz took 20.2 percent of the vote.
Rubio had just three more votes in Franklin County than Ted Cruz.
John Kasich took about 6 percent of the vote.
Local Democrats were evenly split between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

Hillary Clinton got 18 more Franklin County votes than Bernie Sanders, taking 46.9 percent of the total to Bernie Sanders 45.7 percent.
