There is now a program called the The Two Fish Food Market through the First United Methodist Church of Port St. Joe that might be able to help.
The Two Fish Food Market provides food to families who are struggling to make ends meet.
Two Fish provides not only canned goods but fresh vegetables, fruits, meat and bread.
Participants may shop two times per month getting food based on the size of their household.
There is no cost to the participant.
Your family is eligible to shop at Two Fish and receive food if your household participates in most federal supplemental food or financial assistance programs as well as Medicaid.
You are also eligible if you meet certain income requirements ranging from about 16,600 dollars for a single person to about 57 thousand dollars for a family of eight.
