Franklin County unemployment remained unchanged in March at 4.2 percent

Franklin County unemployment remained unchanged in March at 4.2 percent.

That means 208 people were out of work out of a workforce of 4,982 people.

13 of Florida's 67 counties had lower unemployment rates than ours in March including Wakulla County which had the second lowest unemployment rate in the state at 3.6 percent.

Gulf County unemployment fell in March from 4.6 percent to 4.2 percent with 219 people out of work there.

Liberty County unemployment also fell from 4.6 percent to 4.4 percent.
