Franklin County Commission meets on Tuesday morning

Franklin County Commission will have a full agenda when they meet tomorrow morning in Apalachicola.

Hexaport president Tony Attala will attend the meeting to give the county an update of what’s going on at the home building factory near Carrabelle. The county will also discuss bids for the Urgent Care Clinic the county is building next to the health department in Carrabelle. Scott Maddox who represents Franklin County is trying to get federal stimulus money will attend Tuesday’s meeting to present an energy conservation grant and a representative of the local property appraisers office will attend to discuss property records.

The county will also hold a quasi judicial hearing tomorrow afternoon to hear a protest filed by the Apalachicola Times newspaper over a recent bid award.

If you would like to attend Tuesday’s meeting – it is open to the public. It begins at 9 tomorrow morning at the Franklin County Courthouse Annex in Apalachicola.
