There are no swimming advisories in Franklin County again this week.
Moderate concentrations of the enterococcus bacteria were found at the St. George Island Public Beach, but the concentrations were not high enough to require a swimming advisory.
The Florida Department of Health tests 5 local beaches every week to see if there are bacteria in the water that could indicate a health danger to swimmers.
There is one swimming advisory in Wakulla County this weekend at Mash’s Island – there were no advisories issued for the six beaches tested in Gulf County.
