We're Ok, Come Visit!

For today's Franklin County Beach Report click HERE.

May 25 Update - National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) projections continue to predict favorable wind and currents to keep oil away from Florida's coast for at least the next 72 hours. Franklin County beaches are not affected and there are no oil-related restrictions on any local seafood harvesting areas. In fact, emergency officials eased Franklin County from a Level 2 Partial Activation this week to a less critical Level 3 "Monitoring" of the situation.

That is good news if you are planning a trip to Franklin County and are concerned about impacts from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. However, tourism officials encourage you to check with local lodging providers in order to get the most up-to-date information. To make it easy, we’re providing you a direct link here to all of Franklin County’s accommodations.

Forgotten Coast TV is taking daily video beach reports from several locations in Franklin County. Watch all of the Video Beach Reports here.
