Big bend Hospice Service of Remembrance this Saturday in Apalachicola

Big Bend Hospice will hold its annual Services of Remembrance this Saturday in Apalachicola.

Big Bend Hospice’s Service of Remembrance is a non-denominational service that brings people together to honor the memories of loved ones that have passed away.

They hold the services in each of the counties Hospice serves to help people who become overwhelmed with emotions during the holiday season.

The Services in each county includes music by Music Therapists and words of encouragement from Chaplains, all are part of the Big Bend Hospice staff. 

Big Bend Hospice Grief and Loss Counselors are also be available to talk.  

The Services conclude with a special candle lighting ceremony and passing of the candlelight in memory of loved ones. 

A reception follows, hosted by members from each county’s Advisory Council.


Franklin County’s service will be held on Saturday, November 16th at 10:30 am at Trinity Episcopal Church in Apalachicola.
