Volunteers Needed: Carrabelle Food Distribution, Saturday November 16

United Way of the Big Bend is working with Carrabelle Food Pantry and America’s Second Harvest to do a food distribution this Saturday, November 16^th from 11am – 1pm (or until the food is gone.) Anyone in need of food assistance in Franklin County can receive food during that time.

I will be looking for at least 10 volunteers to join me this Saturday from 10:15am – 1:15pm. We will need to unload the truck (the Second Harvest driver will help unload the pallets for us), organize the food into sections of like items, and then stuff food bags prior to 11am. Then we will help pass out the bags to the individuals beginning at 11:00.

Youth and adults can volunteer at this event. Please pass along the information and have interested individuals contact me.
