Port St. Joe builder named to Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board

A Port St. Joe man has been named to the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board. Governor Charlie Crist announced Monday that 32 year old William “Brian” Cathey of Port Saint Joe is one of 4 new members to the statewide board.

Mister Cathey is the owner and president of Cathey Construction. His term began on March 29, 2010 and ends on October 31st, 2010.

The Construction Industry Licensing Board regulates construction contractors and their businesses across Florida. The board is made up of 18 members representing various construction industries including general contractors, sheet metal contractors, pool contractors, and roofing contractors.
