Margo Anderson is back at the DIXIE on August 7 and ELVIS will be in the Building one more time before summer ends!

On Saturday August 7 at 8 PM Margo Anderson will be performing "Patsy", a Tribute to the Life and Music of Patsy Cline with the Country Gold Band. This will be Margo’s 4th visit to the DIXIE but her first with the Country Gold Band joining her.  Margo’s clear powerful voice will captivate you as will her warm sensitive interpretation of Patsy’s down-home wit and timeless songs.  The Country Gold Band consists of Jimmy Powell from Geneva, Alabama on pedal steel guitar, Wayne Martin of Blountstown on fiddle, Jay Newsom of Grandridge on Bass, Derk Shores, of Marianna on drums, Buster Watson of Cottonwood, Alabama on lead guitar and Dr. Shane Collins, syndicated D.J. of Chattanooga, Birmingham, and 92.5 Clear Channel Country FM, Panama City will narrate and be on rhythm guitar Jimmy Powell is one of the most renowned pedal steel players in the country and has played for Loretta Lynn; Wayne Martin is the three time fiddle champion for the state of Florida.

Then, on Saturday August 14 at 8 PM, spectacular Tribute Artist Todd Alan Herendeen and his Follow That Dream Band will perform one more time this summer, don’t miss your chance to see and hear what everyone’s been talking about. Many audience members that have had the opportunity to experience Todd’s show this summer have already returned for a 2nd time. Come celebrate with us on the 14th as Todd will be doing a special show in honor of Elvis’ life, he died on August 16, 1977. Todd is an outstanding entertainer and showman, we feel so lucky to have him grace the DIXIE stage and look forward to his return for our 14th Professional Season which Margo will be returning for as well.
