The 17th Annual Scallop Festival is coming up this weekend in Port St. Joe.
This year’s festival will include performances by the Bo Spring Band, Amanda Shaw and the Cute Guy Band, the Honey Island Swamp Band and Eric Lindell.
There is also a Kid’s Zone including a scallop art competition as well as an Antique and Collectible Car Show, an antique boat show and of course there will be plenty of food, including lots of bay scallops.
The festival kicks off today with a Scallop festival Sidewalk Sale in the St. Joe business district – the opening ceremony will take place on Saturday at 11 at the Waterfront Shipyard Cove Park in Port St. Joe.
