Drivers License and Vehicle Checkpoints will be held on Highway 65 in November

DIVISION OF FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL

TROOP H – QUINCY DISTRICT

October 29, 2010

DRIVER LICENSE & VEHICLE INSPECTION
CHECKPOINTS

The Florida Highway Patrol will be conducting driver license and
vehicle inspection checkpoints during the month of November 2010 in Liberty and
Franklin Counties. Recognizing the danger presented to the public by defective
vehicle equipment, Troopers will concentrate their efforts on vehicles being
will
operated with defects such as bad brakes, worn tires, and defective lighting
equipment. In addition, attention will be directed to drivers who would violate the
driver license laws of Florida.

The authorized locations for these checkpoints are:
• SR 65 in Liberty County
• SR 65 in Franklin County

The patrol has found that these checkpoints are an effective means of
enforcing the equipment and driver license laws of Florida while ensuring the
protection of all motorists.
