The Florida Highway Patrol will be cracking down on drunk driving over the Halloween weekend.
Highway Patrol officers are participating in the national Drunk Driving. Over the Limit. Under Arrest. campaign, which extends through October 31st.
Over the next few days there will be more troopers on duty, and they will focus on high traffic areas looking for impaired drivers.
Drivers should take special care to drive safely this weekend because of the number of children who will be out and about trick or treating.
And because Halloween falls on a Sunday this year, kids could be out begging for candy on both Saturday and Sunday night.
The City of Carrabelle has already said it will have trick or treating on Saturday.
If you happen to see a drunk driver on the road any time, you can call the Highway Patrol very easily with your cell phone at Star FHP.http://www.oysterradio.com e-mail manager@oysterradio.com with comments
