Franklin County Humane Society Pet of the Week
Not so Pitiful Pearl! Pearl was left in our drop-off pen and looked so bad due to hairloss and poor nutrition that we named her "Pitiful Pearl". Although she looked terrible at the time, we knew there was a beauty hiding there,,,,and were we ever right! She is a 5 month old Husky/Hound mix with one blue eye and one brown. She is sweet, social and playful and thinks she is a lap dog. Please come meet our Pearl. This little girl had a very rough start and it would be great to have her home for the Holidays!
VOLUNTEERS are desperately needed to socialize Pearl and all of the other dogs and cats. We are always looking for people willing to bring one of our animals into their home to be fostered for various needs. Anytime you can spare would be greatly appreciated.
Call Karen at 670-8417 for more details or visit the Franklin County
Humane Society at 244 State Route 65 in Eastpoint. You may log onto the website at www.forgottenpets.org to see more of our adoptable pets.
