1/31/11 SEAHAWK SCOOP

SEAHAWK SCOOP
Monday, January 31, 2011

“The future belongs to the educated.”     - Milken Family Foundation

**PARENTS-  FLU  SEASON:  We are still in the flu season”.  This is an obvious fact if you note the number of children & staff out sick on any given day.  The pressure on schools to keep attendance high & the pressure on parents to arrange at-home care, often leads to an environment where sick children come to school.
The best way to prevent the spread of the flu is for parents to keep children
At home if they have a fever or other flu symptoms.    - George Oehlert, Principal
It is hard to believe during this season of cold weather, but there are over 30 outerwear items on the stage in the cafetorium that students have left lying on campus.  If your child is missing a jacket, sweatshirt, cap, etc., have them check the cafetorium.
