Tallahassee Police Investigate String of Robberies

Last night, the Tallahassee Police department responded to three commercial robberies. The first robbery occurred at approximately 9:00PM, located at 2258 North Monroe Street (Arby's). A suspect entered the business brandishing a firearm, demanding money from the clerk. The clerk complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A second robbery occurred at approximately 9:15PM, located at 100 East Magnolia Drive (Walgreens). A suspect entered the business implied he had a weapon and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A third robbery occurred at approximately 9:50PM, located at 1901 Apalachee Parkway (Wendy's). A suspect entered the business brandishing a firearm, demanding money from the clerk. The clerk complied and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured during any of the robberies. Investigators believe the robberies may be related. Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to contact the Tallahassee Police Department at (850) 891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS (8477). Suspect Descriptions:
  • #1 Black male, 5'5"-5'6", last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and black jeans.
  • #2 Black male, 5'7", possibly early 20's, last seen wearing a brown long sleeve shirt (possibly a jacket), and dark pants.
  • #3 Black male, 5'9"-5'11", last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants.
