Boil water notice lifted for Highland View

A boil water notice in effect for the Highland View area of Port St. Joe has been lifted.
The boil water notice has been in effect since January the 25th after a water line on Marlin Street broke.
The impacted area included Highland View, Windmark Beach and the portion of Highway 98 between the two.
The Port St. Joe Water Department said results of bacteriological tests show the water is safe to drink and to use in cooking.
If you have any questions you may contact Glenn Davis at the Water Dept. at 229-6395.
