The USDA Forest Service, National Forests in Florida anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal for groundcover enhancement. This contract will consist of groundcover enhancement including collection of 1300 pounds of groundcover seeds and 50 acres of seed planting on the Apalachicola National Forest, Leon and Wakulla Counties, FL. The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at http://fbo.gov/ on or about August 4, 2011. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. The government will award one contract as a result of this Request for Proposal. The Government estimate is between $25,000 - $100,000. In order to receive award under this RFP the successful offeror shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database, have completed the online representations and certifications (www.orca.gov) and be a certified 100% Small Business. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Forest Service.
