Miss Florida Seafood pageant tomorrow at the Franklin County School


The Florida Seafood festival will hold its annual Miss Florida seafood pageant tomorrow night.

Six young ladies will vie for the title of Miss Florida Seafood.

The contestants include Christina Pateritsa, Kayle Martina, Christina Collins, Carli Hunt, Hannah Oxendine, and Emerald Norris.

The young ladies are competing for a 500 dollar scholarship plus the chance to represent this year’s Seafood Festival which will be held November the 4th and 5th at Battery Park in Apalachicola.

As part of her duties the queen leads the seafood festival parade and officially opens the event.

She also promotes the festival and local seafood through public appearances around the area.

The pageant will be held this Saturday evening at 7 p.m. at the Franklin County School’s cafetorium.

Tickets will be sold at the door; they are 5 dollars each.
