Sheriff's office seeks help in finding car burglars


            Sheriff’s officers in Gulf and Franklin County are looking for help in identifying at least two people and possibly three that have been burglarizing vehicles in the two counties.
There have been between 6 and 8 vehicles burglarized in Franklin County since April and three or more in Gulf County.
The thieves are breaking the windows on the cars and stealing purses and electronics.
Many of the burglaries have taken place in broad daylight – The burglaries span from Carrabelle and St. George Island to Gulf County and at least two of the burglaries have happened at the Eastpoint fishing pier.
The suspects have been seen driving a 2000-2005 Beige or Gold Chevy Suburban. 

One is a white male around his mid thirties with dark shoulder length hair. 

The other is white male with blonde curly hair maybe in his late twenties with a tribal band tattoo on his right bicep. 

Sheriff’s officers say they do have pictures of at least two people of interest after they were filmed using a stolen debit card at the WalMart in Callaway.
