Governor Scott seeks applicants to become Wakulla County sheriff


There’s a job opening in Wakulla County.
Governor Rick Scott says he is looking for a qualified individual to be the sheriff.
Long time sheriff David Harvey is leaving the post to take on a new role as the Executive Director for the Florida Sheriff’s Risk Management Fund.
Governor Scott plans to make the appointment by October 1st the day Sheriff Harvey’s resignation takes effect.
Whoever is named will serve until January 7th, 2013.
