PUBLIC NOTICE: HOGS SEIZED

The Wakulla County Animal Control Unit seized five hogs from an area of 1223 Rehwinkel Road last week. The owner of the animals remains unknown and the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office is alerting the public that the hogs will be auctioned if the owner does not come forward and claim them.

To Whom It May Concern:You are hereby notified that the following described livestock: 1 adult white and brown female hog, 1 adult female black hog, 2 brown and white young adult female hogs and 1 young adult brown and white male hog. These animals are now impounded at Wakulla County Animal Control, 9 Oak Street, Crawfordville, Florida and the amount due by reason of such impounding is $150 dollars plus a boarding fee of $5.00 per day per animal. The above described livestock will, unless redeemed within 3 days from date hereof, be offered for sale at public auction to the highest and best bidder for cash.
