Wakulla county hogs can be yours for the right price

If you are in the market for some hogs, the Wakulla County Sheriff’s office may soon be auctioning off 5 of them.

The Wakulla County Animal Control Unit seized five hogs last week.

They don’t know who owns them and if the owner doesn’t claim them soon the hogs will be auctioned.

There is 1 adult white and brown female hog, 1 adult female black hog, 2 brown and white young adult female hogs and 1 young adult brown and white male hog.

The animals are currently impounded at Wakulla County Animal Control but unless they are picked up soon they be offered for sale at public auction to the highest and best bidder for cash.

For more information, contact Wakulla County Animal Control at 926-0902.

Why would the sheriff's office be doing the auctioning? They gave up oversight of the animal control, for some reason
