This is Overdue Book Amnesty Week at local libraries

If you have an overdue library book sitting around the house, and haven’t returned it because you don’t want to pay the fine – you’re in luck.

The Franklin County Public Library is offering amnesty on all overdue books, audiobooks and videos this week.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve had the book a few days or a few years – return the book between now and Friday and the fines will be waived.

And that will mean you can start checking out books again.
