* UNTIL 1245 PM EDT WEDNESDAY
* AT 1251 PM EDT.THE NATL WEATHER SVC CONTINUED TO RECEIVE
REPORTS OF WIDESPREAD FLOODING ACROSS THE REGION.AS A RESULT OF
THE RAINFALL FROM TROPICAL STORM DEBBY. EVEN THOUGH THE HEAVY RAIN
HAS DIMINISHED.AREA RIVERS.CREEKS.STREAMS.& SWAMPS WILL
CONTINUE TO DISCHARGE LARGE AMOUNTS OF WATER FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL
DAYS.
A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN REPORTED.
STREAM RISES WILL BE SLOW & FLASH FLOODING IS NOT EXPECTED.
HOWEVER.ALL INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS
IMMEDIATELY.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS.
SIGNIFICANT FLOODING IS EXPECTED WITH THIS EVENT.WHICH WILL IMPACT
HOMES IN AREAS NOT NORMALLY AFFECTED BY HEAVY RAINS.
MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY
DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
