The Franklin County Courts will be closed tomorrow, Monday, 25 June 2012, due to Tropical Storm Debby. The decision was made a short time ago by Chief Judge Charles A. Francis, after consultation with Clerk of Circuit Court Marcia Johnson. Cases scheduled to be heard tomorrow will be rescheduled for future dates to be determined. The court will also seek a tolling order from the Supreme Court of Florida so that parties will not be prejudiced because of tomorrow's court closing. The court will also carefully track Tropical Storm Debby's progress and make timely decisions about possible future closures as warranted by circumstances.
