Habitat Franklin needs volunteers for Saturday work day


Franklin County’s Habitat for Humanity group will hold a Work Day on Saturday.

The group is starting work on a new home in the Magnolia Ridge estates in Eastpoint that will belong to the Adam and Jessica Weeks Family once its complete.

The exact address is 264 Ridgecrest Parkway just off North Bayshore Drive.

Habitat is looking for volunteers for saturday.

They need people who own a hammer and can nail together wood studs for the exterior wall framing of this house.

They also need people who can bring the materials to the work areas and people to help keep the work area cleaned up of debris.

The workday will begin at 8:30 Saturday morning.
 
This will be Habitat Franklin’s 4th construction project in Franklin County.

Interested volunteers can visit www.habitatfranklin.org for information and a place to sign up for either construction or non-construction assistance to Habitat.
