A
19 year old girl from Crawfordville received critical injuries after she was
hit by a car late Wednesday night.
The
Highway patrol said Heather Suzanne Walker was walking in the westbound lane of
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. memorial Boulevard just before 10
:30
Wednesday night when she was hit by a 1995 Acura Integra driven by 28 Jennifer
Lynette Hicks of Garland , Texas
The
Highway patrol said there was a light rain at the time of the crash and the
roadway was dark.
They
did not know why miss Walker was in the roadway and said charges are pending an
investigation of the accident.
