Army Staff Sergeant Marc Anthony Scialdo, of Naples, Florida, died on March 11, 2013, in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  Army Staff Sergeant Marc Anthony Scialdo was assigned to B Company, 603^rd Aviation Support Battalion, 3^rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3^rdInfantry Division, Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia.   

By virtue of the power and authority vested in me by 4 U.S.C. § 7(m), as amended on June 29, 2007, and the laws and Constitution of the State of Florida, I, Governor Rick Scott, hereby proclaim and direct as follows:

1.      All National and State flags shall be flown at half-staff at the County Courthouse of Collier County, Florida, and the City Hall of Naples, Florida, on Friday, March 22, 2013, in honor of Army Staff Sergeant Marc Anthony Scialdo.

2. The National and State flags at the Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida, shall also be flown at half-staff on Friday, March 22, 2013, in honor of Army Staff Sergeant Marc Anthony Scialdo.
