Franklin county approves contract for "The Management Experts" to handle emergency operations training

County Commissioners this week approved a contract with a company called The Management Experts to provide disaster response training and exercises through the Franklin County emergency Management office.

The company has been the training and exercise coordinator for the county for the past three years and emergency management director Pam Brownell said they have done a great job.

It was one of two companies competing for the contract this year.

The Emergency training is funded through a Homeland Security grant.
