Lane closures on U.S. 98 in Franklin County

Chipley – Motorists traveling U.S. 98 two miles east of Apalachicola will encounter intermittent delays Monday, April 22 through Thursday, April 25.  A FDOT bridge maintenance crew will perform a routine inspection of the Apalachicola Bay Bridge.  Lane closures will remain in effect from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily.

Maintenance activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to obey the posted speed limit when traveling through the work zone and to watch for construction equipment and workers entering and exiting the roadway.
