A number of north Florida counties will get
federal assistance because of heavy flooding in early July.
Holmes,
Walton and Washington Counties have been declared for
Public Assistance which will provide them with money for debris removal and
emergency protective measures.
It
can also help cover the cost to repair or replace disaster-damaged,
publicly-owned buildings.
Walton
and Washington Counties received nearly 20
inches of rain during the first week of July
The
estimated damage across the three counties was nearly 29 million dollars.
