Florida drivers among nation's worst

Florida may need to invest in more driver’s education teachers.

The Sunshine State recently ranked as the 6^th worst when it comes to driving.

A report just released by carinsurancecomparison.com found that Florida’s drivers are the 6^th worst in the nation, Louisiana drivers ranked 1^st, followed by South Carolina, Mississippi, Texas and Alabama.

The company bases its list on statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the National Motorists Association and Mothers Against Drink Driving.

Each state is ranked in categories.

Florida ranked worst for careless driving, 48^th for tickets, 38^th for failure to obey traffic signals, 33^rd for fatalities per 100 million vehicles, and 18^th for drunk driving.
