The most common complaint by far was telemarketers violating Florida’s Do Not Call List which is supposed to protect people from sales calls.
There were nearly 19 thousand complaints about violations of the Do Not Call list - Complaints about violators of Do Not Call has topped the list for four consecutive years.
Telemarketing in general came in second on the list with over 3600 complaints.
Fuel issues, communications problems, and landlord/tenant issues rounded out the top 5.

They were followed by complaints about real estate brokers, cable TV, credit cards and banking, Motor vehicle sales and travel/ vacation plans.
