Deer
hunters should probably think twice about shooting deer they know are
undersized – because that deer might be working for the cops.
Earlier this month wildlife
officers deployed a decoy deer in the Tate’s Hell State forest.
The deer was obviously undersized.
6 hunters stopped and took
a look at the deer – 5 of them left the deer alone.
But one woman took a shot
at the decoy.
Officers caught the woman
and issued a citation.
They also confiscated her
firearm.
The hunter advised the Officers that she knew that what she
shot at was a deer, but admitted that she could not positively identify it as
being a legal deer for Tate’s Hell State Forest .
