Apalachicola BP Claims office now closed

There is no longer a BP claims office in Apalachicola.

The local office was closed on March the 26^th and there are no plans for it to reopen though Congressman Steve Southerland’s office is trying to address the issue.

At this point the nearest BP claims office is in Panama City Beach.

The decision to close the Apalachicola office is part of a larger reduction and reorganization of the BP claims process - an office in Gulf Shores, Alabama was also closed when the Apalachicola office was closed, and several other offices were relocated or combined.
