4 more student athletes sign with area colleges

This has been a good year for senior athletes at the Franklin county school.

According to the Franklin County school there were 13 total student-athletes out of 31 total seniors that played sports in the 2014 class who are graduating with the opportunity to play a college sport.

The Franklin county school recently had three senior baseball players sign athletic scholarships to play for Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville and one has signed to play with FAMU in Tallahassee.

The four student athletes are Bobby John Curry, Logan Mcleod, James Newell and Skylar Hutchinson.

James Newell also has a couple of division 2 schools looking at him so he may still have a decision to make about where he goes to school next year.

All four young men will be recognized at a special ceremony on Friday, May the 30th at the Franklin county school.
