Registration for shelling program will be held Thursday morning

            A shelling program will begin in Franklin County next week.

The five-week mini-shelling program begins Monday, May 19th and ends on June 30^th.

The City of Apalachicola will administer the 400 thousand dollar payroll for the program.

Sign up for the 2014 mini program will take place from 9:00AM – 11:00AM on Thursday, at the Battery Park Community Center in Apalachicola.

You must bring your social security card and oyster permit with you.

To be eligible to take part in the shelling program you should have participated in the 2013 shelling program and completed the OSHA certfication requirements.
