Wakulla County Reminds Citizens of the June 1st Solid Waste and Fire Hardship Annual Application Deadline

Crawfordville, Florida – The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners wants to remind citizens that the FY 2013/14 Solid Waste and Fire Hardship Applications are due byJune 1, 2014. The Hardship Assistance Program assists residential property owners who meet the eligibility criteria, with the financial burden imposed by the Solid Waste and Fire Services Assessments.

In order to qualify for assistance, the applicant must complete an application and file with the County Administrator’s Office by June 1, 2014.  It’s important to note that citizens must apply for this assistance on an annual basis.  To learn more about the eligibility criteria for the Hardship Assistance Application and to obtain the application, please visit the County website (www.mywakulla.com) or contact Patty Taylor at 850-926-0919 ext. 701.
