Franklin County Clerk of Court Marcia Johnson named Clerk of the Year

Franklin County Clerk of Court Marcia Johnson has been named “Clerk of the Year” by the Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers Association.

The Association is made up of the 68 Clerks and Comptrollers throughout the State.

She received the award at the Association’s annual conference banquet held on June 10^th, in Palm Beach County

Mrs. Johnson said she was certainly honored to receive such statewide recognition, and added that she is appreciative of her staff, county officials, county employees and citizens who support her.  

Marcia has been Franklin County clerk of Court since 2004 and said she plans to seek re-election in 2016.

Marcia was also sworn in as the Secretary of the Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers Association for the year beginning July 1^st, which means she could be the President of the group in the year 2018.
