Seagrass Beds & Salt Marshes class covers the ecology, geology, and economic importance of coastal marshes and seagrass beds. Learn about these productive habitats, their importance and regulatory and conservation issues. Be prepared to spend the morning in the classroom and afternoon exploring salt marshes and snorkeling/wading in St. Joseph Bay. (Snorkeling equipment is NOT provided.)
Registration is required at http:// apalachicolanerrcoastaltrainin g.eventbrite.com with payment received at least five days before class. Cost: $10.00 per person per class payable by check or cash to Friends of the Reserve.
