Local opportunities for hog huntin' coming up in July

If you like to hunt wild hogs, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has several upcoming opportunities on public lands in northwest Florida

The Apalachicola River wildlife management area in Franklin and Gulf counties will allow dog and still hunting July 18th through the 20th without a management area permit.

There will also be wild hog hunts in August and September.

The Beaverdam Creek Wildlife Management Area in Liberty County will allow Dog and still hunting July 11th through the 13th without a management area permit.

You can also apply for a quota permit and hunt hogs at the Box-R Ranch July 11th through the 13th and at the Apalachicola Bradwell Unit in Liberty County July 11th through the 13th and 18th through the 20th.
